If you are in the market for a holiday that is truly out of this world, then we have some great news for you: the world's first space hotel is now taking reservations. However, this will be no budget trip.

The Orion Space Hotel is now taking bookings for guests to stay from early 2022. The trip will involve a 12-day journey where you will soar 200 miles above the earth's orbit and will be able to experience zero gravity.

Of course, this kind of trip will not come cheap. The experience will set guests back $9.5 million (about £6.7 million), however you will be able to pay in instalments if you put down a $80,000 (about £55,000) deposit now.
