We put the new economy class cabin offerings to the test to see if they live up to the hype.

Virgin Atlantic caused quite the buzz earlier this year when the airline revealed it was making some big changes to its economy cabins.

The most notable change? Extra leg room on offer with the Delight tickets. But it is worth paying a little more, or is the hand-luggage-only 'Light' option better suited to those travelling on a budget?

Sir Richard Branson said: "When I started Virgin Atlantic I wanted to challenge the status quo and make flying amazing – regardless of which cabin you’re in - and that’s still true today.
