Manchester Airport drop-off charges are being introduced next week.

There will be a charge for anyone dropping passengers off directly outside the terminal buildings - with a free drop-off area being created at one of the nearby jetparks.

Drivers dropping passengers off at Manchester Airport will have to a pay a fee from next week.

The airport has revealed the scheme will be launching from Tuesday, July 10, with people being charged if they want to be dropped off directly outside terminals.

Drivers dropping passengers off will be charged £3 for five minutes or £4 for ten minutes.

Alternatively motorists can use a free drop-off area and catch a shuttle bus to the correct terminal.

This is located at the current Jetparks 1 site, which is near to Terminal 2.
