Passengers can now bag a cheeky Nando's during the flight - and you could even get a free meal back on the ground too.

Jet2 has become the first airline to offer its passengers a cheeky Nando's as part of its in-flight menu.

The budget carrier has teamed up with the beloved restaurant chain and has unveiled two new offerings for holidaymakers, just in time for the summer.

But before you get too excited, it won't be a chicken and PERi-salted chips kind of deal.

Instead, the airline is serving up 'Nando’s PERi–PERi Flight Bites', two new snacks infused with the chain's iconic Southern African PERI-PERI spice.

Guests can choose from Nando's Half-popped Corn (think fluffy popcorn meets crunchy corn) which is also suitable for vegans, or a Nando's Box which includes creamy houmous, smoky PERi–PERi drizzle and lightly salted pitta chips.
