Can't visit the Caribbean? These Ohio islands were named among the best in the Midwest

You don't have to travel outside of the Buckeye State to embark on your next island getaway.

Ohio is home to over a dozen islands and scenic shorelines on Lake Erie, with many of them accessible by ferry or airplane. Midwest Living, the travel and lifestyle publication, featured two Ohio islands as part of its roundup of 'Midwest islands that feel worlds away' list.

If you're looking for a change of scenery, these are two notable islands worth a visit.
