Most travelers know the basics of air travel: passport, boarding pass, and maybe a printed itinerary. But one lesser known requirement could derail your trip if you overlook it.
ABC News highlighted a story from Herb Weisbaum, a Consumers' Checkbook contributor known as the Consumer Man, who nearly missed his return flight from London because of a rule at Heathrow Airport.
Weisbaum explained to ABC’s Troubleshooters that when he and his wife tried to check in for their Delta flight, the kiosk demanded the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Without it, they couldn’t move forward.
