Cape Town unveils its first electric commercial boat to boost eco-friendly tourism

City Sightseeing Cape Town is leading the way in sustainable tourism with the launch of its first fully electric commercial boat.

After more than two years in development, this pioneering vessel brings eco-friendly transportation to the forefront of the city’s tourism experience.

The sleek, modern electric boat is docked outside the One&Only Cape Town and can carry up to 32 passengers.

It will be part of the regular City Sightseeing boat schedule that offers scenic canal cruises and serves as a transport link to the Central Business District (CBD).
